Prediction market odds, like those found on Polymarket and Predict, often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of bettors, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while prediction markets allow traders to freely express their beliefs, leading to more accurate probabilities. This market’s implied probabilities may diverge from sportsbook odds due to differing information sources, analytical approaches, and the incentive structures of each venue. Examining both can provide a more well-rounded assessment of the likely outcome.
