In the upcoming Serie A game between AS Roma and Genoa CFC, scheduled for October 17, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the AS Roma vs. Genoa CFC match originally scheduled for October 17, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a more accurate aggregate forecast than traditional sportsbook odds. This is because prediction markets incentivize participants to reveal their true beliefs, whereas sportsbooks may incorporate a profit margin or be influenced by public biases. While sportsbooks often set initial lines based on expert analysis, this market allows a wider range of participants to contribute to the probability assessment. It’s common to see prediction market prices move independently of sportsbook lines as new information emerges and traders refine their forecasts.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing different possible exact scores. The price of each contract reflects the market's collective probability of that outcome occurring. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust dynamically, providing a real-time assessment of the likelihood of each exact score. The current price indicates what traders believe is a fair value for the probability of that specific result in the AS Roma vs. Genoa match.
This market resolves around Oct 17, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final result of the AS Roma vs. Genoa match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact score determined by official sources will be used to determine which contracts pay out. The resolution process relies on publicly available data to ensure an objective and transparent outcome. Traders will be able to view the final result and settlement details on Predict following the conclusion of the event.
Several factors could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either AS Roma or Genoa could significantly shift the odds. Tactical changes announced by either manager, or even unexpected weather conditions on match day, could also impact trader sentiment. Additionally, major shifts in public opinion or analysis from sports commentators could contribute to price movements. Finally, any in-game events during the match itself, such as early goals or red cards, would likely cause substantial fluctuations in this market.
