Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Both Polymarket and Kalshi resolve based on the official match outcome (win, loss, or draw) after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 18, 2026, with identical handling of postponements and cancellations.
Primary resolution logic:
Official statistics from Lega Serie A (Italian Serie A governing body) or credible reporting consensus if official statistics are not published within 2 hours of match conclusion.
Core resolution logic:
Market resolves YES if Atalanta BC wins the match after 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
Market resolves YES if AS Roma wins the match after 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
Market resolves YES if the match ends in a draw after 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
Exactly one of the three outcome markets (Atalanta win, Roma win, Draw) will resolve YES.
Extra time and penalties are excluded from resolution scope.
If the match is postponed, markets remain open until the match is completed.
If the match is canceled with no make-up game, Atalanta win and Roma win markets resolve NO, and the Draw market resolves YES.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open and unresolved until the match is completed on a later date.
Match Cancellation Without Make-up: If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game scheduled, the Draw market resolves YES while Atalanta win and Roma win markets resolve NO.
Resolution Source Timing: Primary resolution uses official Lega Serie A statistics. If official statistics are not published within 2 hours after match conclusion, credible reporting consensus may be used instead.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official announcement of the final match result by Lega Serie A after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, or within 2 hours thereafter if official statistics are delayed.
