In the upcoming match between Arsenal FC and Hull City AFC, scheduled for November 7, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET: This market will resolve to "Arsenal FC" if Arsenal FC are the first to score in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time). This market will resolve to "Hull City AFC" if Hull City AFC are the first to score in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time). If neither team scores in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time), this market will resolve to "Neither". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Neither". This market refers only to goals scored within the second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time. First-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor names, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences in a team's or player's name will not affect resolution, provided the intended team or player can be clearly and uniquely identified as a participant in the listed fixture or competition. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participant, or could reasonably refer to more than one participant such that the intended team or player cannot be determined, this market will resolve as it would if the listed fixture had been canceled entirely; a listed participant who cannot be identified does not count as inactive or absent. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match information from Premier League (https://www.premierleague.com/). If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can often differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on statistical models and expert opinions, while this market allows anyone to participate and express their beliefs. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook has mispriced a team’s chances, the odds on Polymarket will adjust accordingly. This dynamic can lead to more accurate probabilities, especially as new information becomes available. It's common to see differences in implied probabilities between the two.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in whether Arsenal or Hull City will score first in the second half. The price of these shares directly reflects the probability of each outcome, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information emerges, the price fluctuates, providing a real-time assessment of the likelihood of each team taking the lead. The current implied probability of Hull City scoring first is 47.0%.
This market resolves around Nov 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on which team scores the first goal in the second half of the Arsenal versus Hull City match. The official match records will be used to determine the winning outcome. Any potential disputes will be addressed based on publicly available and verifiable information regarding the match results.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in starting lineups, or even weather conditions could shift traders’ expectations. A strong performance by either team in the first half, or tactical adjustments made at halftime, could also significantly impact the odds. Unexpected events during the match, such as red cards or penalties, are likely to cause rapid price movements. Monitoring these signals and staying informed about the latest developments will be crucial for understanding how this market evolves.
