Prediction market odds, like those found on Polymarket and Predict, often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set odds based on their own models and aim to profit from the spread, while prediction markets incentivize accurate predictions through financial rewards. This market, specifically, may show discrepancies with sportsbook odds due to differing information access, varying levels of expertise among participants, and the incentive structures inherent to each system. It’s common to see prediction markets move faster to incorporate new information.
