Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market aggregates the beliefs of individuals trading shares. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially before significant events or when new information emerges. Examining the difference between the implied probability on Limitless and the odds offered by sportsbooks can reveal where the crowd believes there's an edge in predicting whether Arsenal and Everton will score three or more goals.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous exchange where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief about the outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the implied probability of the event occurring – in this case, Arsenal and Everton scoring three or more total goals. As more people buy shares, the price increases, indicating growing confidence in that outcome. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price is determined entirely by supply and demand; there are no bookmakers setting odds. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust to changing expectations.

This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Arsenal versus Everton match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the total number of goals scored by both teams combined during regular match time. Any extra time or penalty shootouts will not be considered. Traders who hold shares representing the 'yes' outcome – that there will be three or more goals – will receive a payout if the condition is met, while those holding shares representing the 'no' outcome will lose their investment.

Several factors could influence this market before resolution. Injury reports for key attacking players on either Arsenal or Everton would be significant, as would any changes in team formations or tactical approaches. News regarding the weather conditions on match day could also play a role, as rain or wind might affect the likelihood of goals. Even pre-match analysis from reputable football commentators could shift sentiment. Ultimately, any information that alters perceptions of the teams’ scoring potential could cause the price of shares in this market to move, reflecting the evolving expectations of traders.
