This set of markets tracks how many points are scored in the final quarter of a college football game between Arkansas and Texas A&M. Each market has a different threshold for the total points scored by both teams combined during that specific period.
All markets resolve based on the total points scored by both teams in the 4th quarter (excluding overtime) of the Arkansas vs Texas A&M college football game scheduled for October 3, 2026. For any market, if the combined score exceeds the specified threshold, it resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the market remains open and resolves based on the final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours of its scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price. Only points scored during regulation 4th quarter play count; overtime points are excluded from all calculations.
Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from sportsbook odds which can be influenced by factors like house bias or initial public perception. Sportsbooks set lines to balance betting action, while this market allows traders to freely express their beliefs about the likely outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists between this market and sportsbook odds, it could indicate that the crowd believes the sportsbook is mispricing the event. It’s important to note that both represent probabilities, but are derived through different mechanisms and may appeal to different types of bettors.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing their beliefs about the 4th quarter total in the Arkansas vs Texas A&M game. The price of a contract ranges from 0 to 100, representing the probability of that specific outcome occurring. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy contracts for a particular outcome, the price increases, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing mechanism reflects the collective intelligence of the market participants, constantly adjusting to new information and insights. The current price reflects the market’s best estimate of the likelihood of the total points scored.
This market resolves around Oct 4, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the 4th quarter of the Arkansas vs Texas A&M game is verifiable from credible public reporting. The total points scored in the 4th quarter, as officially recorded by the game’s governing body, will determine the winning contracts. The resolution process relies on publicly available data to ensure an objective and transparent outcome. Traders will be able to see the final result and the corresponding payout for their contracts following the game’s completion.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before it resolves. Any news regarding key player injuries for either the Arkansas or Texas A&M teams would likely cause significant movement. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they are expected to impact scoring, could also shift the market. Furthermore, in-game performance during the first three quarters, especially if one team establishes a dominant lead or struggles offensively, could lead to adjustments in trader sentiment and contract prices. Unexpected coaching decisions or late-breaking news could also play a role.
