This set of markets focuses on predicting the margin of victory for either Arizona or West Virginia specifically within the third quarter of their scheduled college football game. Each market corresponds to a different point differential threshold that must be exceeded by the winning team during that quarter alone.
These markets resolve based on the point differential by which either Arizona or West Virginia wins during the third quarter of the game scheduled for October 10, 2026. Each market has a specific threshold: if Arizona wins by more than 10.5, 7.5, 6.5, 3.5, or 2.5 points in the third quarter, the corresponding Arizona markets resolve to Yes. Conversely, if West Virginia wins by more than 2.5, 3.5, 6.5, 7.5, or 10.5 points in the third quarter, the respective West Virginia markets resolve to Yes. Only points scored during the third quarter count toward these outcomes. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the markets remain open and resolve based on the official result. If the game does not start within 48 hours, the markets resolve to a fair price. Kalshi is not affiliated with the NCAA, and all trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to trade based on their own analysis. Often, you'll find that this market incorporates information and perspectives not fully captured by sportsbooks, leading to potentially different probabilities assigned to various outcomes. It's common to see discrepancies, especially as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts regarding the Arizona vs West Virginia game.
This market resolves around Oct 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final point spread of the third quarter between Arizona and West Virginia, as reported by official game statistics, will determine which contracts pay out. The contracts will settle based on whether the actual spread falls above or below the specified contract value. Remember, the outcome is based on the official game results, not on any individual’s prediction or analysis of this market.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. Any news regarding injuries to key players on either the Arizona or West Virginia teams would likely cause significant movement. Changes in team strategy or coaching decisions could also impact trader sentiment. Furthermore, unexpected weather conditions or even pre-game analysis from prominent sports commentators could shift opinions and affect the volume traded. Public perception and late-breaking news are key catalysts that can move this market before Oct 10, 2026.
