In the upcoming FIFA International Friendlies game between Argentina and Benin, scheduled for October 6, 2026 at 7:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Argentina vs. Benin match originally scheduled for October 6, 2026 at 7:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market represents the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to accurately forecast the outcome. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply a different assessment of probabilities. If you find a significant difference between the odds here and at a sportsbook, it could signal an opportunity for value betting, depending on your own analysis of the game.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share directly reflects the market’s implied probability of that score occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The platform’s design encourages efficient price discovery, as traders are constantly updating their beliefs based on new information and the actions of others. This creates a dynamic and informative view of the expected result.
This market resolves around Oct 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final, official score of the Argentina vs. Benin match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result declared by the governing sporting body. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final outcome. It’s important to monitor official sources as the match progresses to understand how the market is likely to settle.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or even weather conditions could shift the perceived probabilities. Unexpected announcements about player form or tactical changes could also lead to significant price movements. Furthermore, large-volume trades by informed individuals could signal new information or a change in sentiment, causing others to adjust their positions. Monitoring these signals will be key to understanding how this market evolves leading up to Oct 6, 2026.
