Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and to balance action, while this market is driven purely by users’ willingness to buy or sell. Therefore, you may find that this market’s implied probabilities diverge from those offered by sportsbooks, especially as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts. It's common to see discrepancies, particularly when public perception differs from expert analysis, offering a potentially valuable comparison point for informed decision-making.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand, reflecting the collective belief of the participants. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more people buy contracts predicting a specific result, the price increases, and the implied probability of that outcome rises. Conversely, selling pressure lowers the price and decreases the implied probability. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures that the market odds are constantly updated to reflect the latest information and sentiment.
This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
