Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market’s prices are driven by traders directly expressing their beliefs about the outcome. If prediction market participants strongly disagree with the sportsbook’s assessment, you’ll likely see a divergence in the odds. It’s common to find that prediction markets are more accurate than sportsbook lines, especially closer to the event, as they aggregate a wider range of information and perspectives.
