Often, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome. If a significant number of people believe a particular exact score is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the price of shares representing that outcome will rise, potentially offering better value than available elsewhere. It's a way to see where public opinion diverges from professional oddsmakers.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing each possible exact score, and the price of each share reflects the market’s assessment of its probability. As more people buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market is entirely driven by supply and demand; there are no centralized bookmakers setting the odds. This creates a dynamic and potentially more accurate reflection of the collective forecast.
This market resolves around Oct 20, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
