Predict
This prediction group asks forecasters to predict the exact final score of a Ligue 1 soccer match between Angers SCO and Olympique de Marseille. The markets resolve based on the score at the end of regulation time, with stoppage time included. Any score not explicitly listed will resolve to 'Any Other Score'.
In the upcoming Ligue 1 game between Angers SCO and Olympique de Marseille, scheduled for October 18, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Angers SCO vs. Olympique de Marseille match originally scheduled for October 18, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds, like those found for this market, often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while prediction markets allow anyone to express their belief about the outcome. This can lead to discrepancies, especially when public sentiment strongly diverges from the sportsbook's initial assessment. The volume on this market is currently $12,762, and comparing these probabilities to sportsbook offerings can reveal where the crowd disagrees with professional oddsmakers.
Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. The prices on Polymarket and Predict may differ due to variations in user base, trading activity, and the information incorporated by traders on each platform. Polymarket might attract more sophisticated bettors with access to detailed statistical analysis, while Predict could have a broader audience relying on more general knowledge. These differing compositions can lead to distinct price discovery processes. Furthermore, the volume traded on each platform—currently $12,722 in the last 24 hours—can influence price sensitivity and create temporary imbalances between the two venues.
