In the upcoming Ligue 1 game between Angers SCO and OGC Nice, scheduled for November 8, 2026 at 11:15 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the halftime score of the Angers SCO vs. OGC Nice match originally scheduled for November 8, 2026 at 11:15 AM ET, considering only goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time; second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual halftime score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor names, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences in a team's or player's name will not affect resolution, provided the intended team or player can be clearly and uniquely identified as a participant in the listed fixture or competition. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participant, or could reasonably refer to more than one participant such that the intended team or player cannot be determined, this market will resolve as it would if the listed fixture had been canceled entirely; a listed participant who cannot be identified does not count as inactive or absent. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match information from Ligue 1 (https://www.ligue1.com/). If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market’s prices are driven purely by traders willing to buy or sell based on their own analysis. If a significant discrepancy exists between this market and sportsbook offerings, it might indicate differing opinions on the likely outcome of the first half. Examining these differences can reveal insights into public perception versus informed prediction.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible first-half exact score. The price of each share reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe a particular score is likely, the higher the price of its corresponding shares will rise, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the collective intelligence of participants.
This market resolves around Nov 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the official result of the first half of the Angers SCO versus OGC Nice match will determine the winning outcome. The final score at halftime will be used to determine which exact score market resolves positively. Traders holding shares in the correct outcome will receive a payout based on the final market price at resolution.
Several factors could influence the price movement of this market before resolution. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Angers SCO or OGC Nice could significantly shift expectations. Tactical changes announced by either team’s manager, or even weather conditions on match day, might also impact trader sentiment. Unexpected events during the first half itself, such as an early red card or a penalty, would likely cause substantial price fluctuations in this market.
