If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a more accurate forecast of events than traditional sportsbook odds. This is because prediction markets aggregate the wisdom of the crowd, incentivizing participants to provide informed predictions. Sportsbooks, while employing analysts, may be influenced by factors like public betting biases or risk management strategies. While sportsbooks may offer similar markets, this market benefits from the diverse perspectives of informed traders. It’s common to see prediction market probabilities adjust more rapidly to new information than sportsbook odds, offering a potentially more dynamic and insightful view.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each exact score. As more shares are purchased for a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher implied probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share directly corresponds to the market's assessment of the likelihood of that outcome occurring. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the collective intelligence of all participants, constantly updating as new information becomes available and traders adjust their positions.
This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Angel City FC vs. Boston Legacy FC match is verifiable from credible public reporting. It’s important to note that the resolution relies on official data and may take a short period to be finalized following the conclusion of the match.
Several factors could significantly impact this market before resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Angel City FC or Boston Legacy FC would likely cause shifts in probabilities.
