This market tracks which team will lead after the first period of an NHL game between Anaheim and New Jersey. It focuses solely on the performance during the initial segment of the match, ignoring the rest of the game’s outcome. The result depends on goal differentials within that specific timeframe only.

Kalshi

The market resolves based on which team is leading at the end of the first period of the Anaheim vs New Jersey NHL game scheduled for October 22, 2026. If New Jersey scores more goals than Anaheim in the first period, the 'New Jersey' market resolves to Yes. If Anaheim scores more goals than New Jersey in the first period, the 'Anaheim' market resolves to Yes. If both teams score an equal number of goals, or if there are no goals scored by either team, the 'Tie' market resolves to Yes. For all markets, only goals scored during the first period count toward resolution. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of its original scheduled time, the market remains open and resolves based on the official result after the first period. If the game is canceled or does not start within 48 hours of the scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price.
