In the upcoming Serie C game between Altamura Societa' Sportiva SRL and Potenza Calcio, scheduled for October 23, 2026 at 2:30 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Altamura Societa' Sportiva SRL vs. Potenza Calcio match originally scheduled for October 23, 2026 at 2:30 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from sportsbook odds due to varying information and biases. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, incorporating a profit margin. This market, however, allows anyone to trade and express their beliefs, potentially leading to odds that more accurately forecast the actual result. Discrepancies can arise from differing levels of expertise among market participants versus sportsbook analysts, or simply from different interpretations of available data. It’s useful to compare both to gain a broader perspective.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each exact score. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting growing confidence. Conversely, selling pressure lowers the price. This dynamic process ensures the market price reflects the collective judgment of all participants, creating a real-time forecast for the Altamura vs. Potenza match.
This market resolves around Oct 23, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the Altamura vs. Potenza match, specifically the exact score, will be used to determine the winning shares. Any delays in official reporting may affect the resolution timeline, but the process aims to be as swift and accurate as possible. Traders should monitor official sources for the confirmed result to understand the final settlement of this market.
Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the odds in this market. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Altamura or Potenza would likely have a significant impact. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if they suggest conditions favoring one team’s playing style, could also move the market. Unexpected tactical announcements from either manager, or even public sentiment shifts based on pre-match analysis, could all contribute to price fluctuations. Any information that alters perceptions of the teams’ relative strengths will likely be reflected in the trading volume and share prices.
