Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while prediction markets aim to represent the true probability of an outcome as assessed by traders. Therefore, comparing this market to sportsbook odds can reveal whether the crowd believes a different outcome is more likely than implied by conventional betting lines. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply varying levels of market efficiency.
