In the upcoming FIFA International Friendlies game between Algeria and Niger, scheduled for October 6, 2026 at 3:30 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Algeria vs. Niger match originally scheduled for October 6, 2026 at 3:30 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own modeling and need to account for profit margins, while this market aggregates the opinions of many individual traders. If a significant number of people believe a particular outcome is more likely than implied by sportsbook odds, the price in this market will adjust accordingly. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities and can be influenced by new information or changing sentiment.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous exchange where traders buy and sell contracts representing different exact scores. The price of each contract reflects the market's collective belief about the probability of that score occurring. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices will fluctuate, providing a dynamic assessment of the likely outcome. The market efficiently incorporates information as traders react to news, team updates, and other relevant factors.
This market resolves around Oct 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official score of the Algeria vs. Niger match will be used to determine the winning contract. The resolution process relies on publicly available and independently verifiable sources to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders will be able to see the confirmed result on Predict following the conclusion of the game.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Algeria or Niger would likely cause price fluctuations. Unexpected changes in weather conditions at the match venue could also influence the perceived probabilities. Furthermore, pre-match analysis from reputable sports analysts, even if it doesn't directly translate to betting odds, can sway trader sentiment and move the market. Finally, any significant in-game events during the match itself, such as early goals or red cards, would undoubtedly cause substantial shifts.
