However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds offer a distinct perspective compared to traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a ‘vig’ or commission into their odds, representing their profit margin, which can slightly skew probabilities. This market, driven by the collective intelligence of traders, aims to reflect the true probabilities as perceived by those actively predicting the outcome. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on expert analysis, this market evolves continuously as new information and opinions emerge, potentially offering more accurate forecasts than initial sportsbook offerings.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where users buy and sell shares representing different exact scorelines. The price of each share directly corresponds to its implied probability of occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the aggregated beliefs of all participants, creating a probabilistic forecast for the Aldershot vs. Gateshead match. The market's efficiency depends on active trading and the flow of information.
This market resolves around Oct 31, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Several factors could influence trading activity and shift probabilities in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, suspensions, or changes in player lineups would likely have a significant impact. Unexpected weather conditions on match day could also alter expectations. Furthermore, pre-match analysis from sports commentators, tactical previews, and even public sentiment expressed on social media could all contribute to shifts in the market. A surprising result in a similar match involving either team could also move the odds, as traders adjust their assessments of each team’s form and potential.
