In the upcoming Primera División (Uruguay) game between Albion FC and Defensor Sporting, scheduled for October 3, 2026 at 2:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Albion FC vs. Defensor Sporting match originally scheduled for October 3, 2026 at 2:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially differing from sportsbook odds which are set by professional oddsmakers. Sportsbooks may incorporate factors like profit margins and perceived public bias into their lines. This market, however, is driven purely by individuals wagering on their beliefs about the outcome of the match. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information access, analytical approaches, or simply varying levels of confidence in a particular result. It's valuable to compare both to gain a broader perspective on the likely outcome.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the probability of that score occurring, as determined by supply and demand. As more people buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price movements are a direct representation of the aggregated beliefs of all participants, offering a real-time assessment of the event’s potential results. The current top outcome is unavailable, and the volume traded is not currently displayed.
This market resolves around Oct 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official score of the Albion FC vs. Defensor Sporting match will be used to determine the winning share(s). Any disputes regarding the official result will be addressed based on widely accepted sports data sources. The resolution process aims to be transparent and objective, ensuring that the market accurately reflects the actual event outcome. Traders should monitor for official announcements regarding the match result to understand when the market will be settled.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or tactical adjustments announced by either Albion FC or Defensor Sporting could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected weather conditions at the match venue, or even significant pre-match commentary from sports analysts, might also play a role. Furthermore, major upsets in related matches or shifts in public perception of either team’s form could lead to price fluctuations. Monitoring these signals will provide insight into potential market movements before Oct 3, 2026.
