These markets track specific combinations of outcomes in the first half and the full game of a college football match between Alabama and Mississippi State. Each market requires both the first half result and the final game result to match a particular scenario for resolution.
All markets resolve based on the combined outcome of the first half and the full game (including overtime) of the Alabama vs Mississippi State college football game scheduled for October 3, 2026. A market resolves to 'Yes' only if both the specified first half result and the specified full game result occur exactly as described. If either the first half or full game result does not match the market's conditions, the market resolves to 'No.' Postponements are handled such that if the game begins within 48 hours of its original start time, markets remain open and resolve based on the official final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours of the scheduled time, markets resolve to a fair price. These rules apply uniformly across all outcome combinations.
Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market is driven by individuals freely trading on their beliefs. Often, prediction markets are more accurate than traditional forecasts, especially when aggregating diverse perspectives. However, sportsbook odds can be influenced by factors like public perception and promotional offers, leading to potential discrepancies with the probabilities seen in this market.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The platform uses a market maker system to ensure there are always bids and asks available, facilitating trading and price discovery for the Alabama vs Mississippi State game.
This market resolves around Oct 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
