Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, potentially differing from those set by sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically set odds to maximize profit, incorporating a margin for themselves, while this market represents what traders believe is the true probability of each outcome. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information sources, analytical approaches, or simply varying levels of confidence in a particular result. It’s common to see this market move independently of sportsbook lines, especially as new information emerges closer to the event date.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of specific exact scores. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the collective assessment of the event’s likelihood. Higher demand for shares of a particular outcome drives up its price, indicating increased confidence, while selling pressure lowers the price. This dynamic pricing system ensures that the market odds are constantly updated based on the latest information and sentiment.
This market resolves around Oct 16, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Al Shahaniya vs. Al Arabi match, as officially recorded by the relevant sporting authority, will determine the winning outcome. The platform will verify the result against these sources to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders who correctly predicted the exact score will be paid out according to the final market prices at the time of resolution.
