Both Polymarket and Predict define identical resolution criteria regarding the first team to score within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, with 'Neither' as the outcome if no goal is scored.Primary resolution logic: Official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers.

Core resolution logic:

  • The first team to score within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time wins the market.
  • If neither team scores within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, the market resolves to 'Neither'.
  • Postponed matches will remain open until completed; canceled matches resolve to 'Neither'.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Data Availability: If official statistics are unavailable within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, Flashscore is used. If Flashscore is unavailable, Sofascore is used. If neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting is used. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours, the market resolves 50-50.
  • Revisions to Scores: Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
Timing: Resolution will occur as soon as official statistics are available, or within 24 hours of the event's conclusion if fallback data sources are required. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds, like those found for this market, often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders. This can lead to probabilities that differ from traditional sportsbooks, which may be influenced by factors like house bias or initial public perception. Sportsbooks typically set odds based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market relies on individuals betting their own capital. Therefore, discrepancies can emerge, especially as new information becomes available and traders adjust their positions.

Prices for this market on Polymarket and Predict can diverge due to several factors. Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform has its own user base, trading volume ($19 in 24-hour volume), and risk tolerance, which can influence price discovery. Additionally, differing liquidity and market-making activity on each platform contribute to price discrepancies. It's also possible that information is absorbed and reacted to at different speeds on each venue. These variations are normal in decentralized prediction markets and reflect the independent assessment of probabilities by each community.
