Two soccer teams compete in a league match where a win for either side determines the outcome. The result is decided after the standard playing time, excluding any additional periods.
The event resolves based on the outcome of the Al-Fayha vs Al-Faisaly Saudi Pro League soccer match scheduled for October 31, 2026. If Al-Fayha wins after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, its market resolves to Yes. If Al-Faisaly wins under the same conditions, its market resolves to Yes. If the match ends in a tie after regulation time, the Tie market resolves to Yes. If the game is cancelled or rescheduled to more than 48 hours away from the original date, all markets resolve to a fair price.
Prediction market odds often differ from those offered by sportsbooks, reflecting the wisdom of the crowd versus the assessments of professional oddsmakers. Sportsbooks set initial lines to balance their risk, while this market allows anyone to trade on their beliefs. If a large number of people believe a particular outcome is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the price will move accordingly. This can lead to opportunities for traders who identify discrepancies between the two. Generally, a comparison reveals how public sentiment diverges from expert opinion.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes of the Al-Fayha vs Al-Faisaly match. The price of each contract reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust dynamically. The current price indicates the cost to take a position on a specific result, and the difference between buying and selling prices represents the spread.
This market resolves around Oct 31, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result will be based on the official result of the Al-Fayha vs Al-Faisaly match, as reported by a recognized sports data provider. Traders holding contracts on the winning outcome will receive a payout, while those holding contracts on losing outcomes will not. The final price at resolution will determine the exact payout amount for each contract.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market before Oct 31, 2026. Any news regarding player injuries, team form, changes in coaching staff, or even weather conditions could shift expectations and move the prices. Unexpected announcements about team lineups or tactical changes right before the match are also likely to cause significant price fluctuations. Furthermore, large trading volume from informed participants could signal new information or a change in sentiment, prompting others to adjust their positions.
