In the upcoming match between AJ Auxerre and Paris FC, scheduled for November 7, 2026 at 11:15 AM ET: This market will resolve to "AJ Auxerre" if AJ Auxerre are the first to score in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time). This market will resolve to "Paris FC" if Paris FC are the first to score in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time). If neither team scores in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time), this market will resolve to "Neither". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Neither". This market refers only to goals scored within the second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time. First-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor names, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences in a team's or player's name will not affect resolution, provided the intended team or player can be clearly and uniquely identified as a participant in the listed fixture or competition. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participant, or could reasonably refer to more than one participant such that the intended team or player cannot be determined, this market will resolve as it would if the listed fixture had been canceled entirely; a listed participant who cannot be identified does not count as inactive or absent. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match information from Ligue 1 (https://www.ligue1.com/). If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. If a significant number of informed bettors believe a sportsbook has mispriced an outcome, we may see divergence in the odds. It’s common to observe prediction markets incorporating information and reacting to news more quickly than sportsbooks, especially as an event approaches.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in whether Auxerre or Paris FC will score first in the second half. The price of each share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the collective assessment of the event's likelihood. The market's depth—the number of shares available at different price points—indicates the level of conviction among traders.
This market resolves around Nov 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the outcome will be determined by which team—Auxerre or Paris FC—scores the first goal in the second half of the match. The result will be based on official match data and verified against credible public sources. The platform will then distribute payouts to shareholders based on the final outcome.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Any news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Auxerre or Paris FC would likely cause movement. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments, or even weather conditions could also impact trader sentiment. Unexpected lineup announcements shortly before the match, or even in-game events during the first half, could lead to significant shifts in the odds as traders react to new information and reassess the probabilities of each team scoring first in the second half.
