In the upcoming match between AJ Auxerre and Paris FC, scheduled for November 7, 2026 at 11:15 AM ET: This market will resolve to "AJ Auxerre" if AJ Auxerre are the first to score in the first half (first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time). This market will resolve to "Paris FC" if Paris FC are the first to score in the first half (first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time). If neither team scores in the first half (first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time), this market will resolve to "Neither". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Neither". This market refers only to goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time. Second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor names, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences in a team's or player's name will not affect resolution, provided the intended team or player can be clearly and uniquely identified as a participant in the listed fixture or competition. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participant, or could reasonably refer to more than one participant such that the intended team or player cannot be determined, this market will resolve as it would if the listed fixture had been canceled entirely; a listed participant who cannot be identified does not count as inactive or absent. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match information from Ligue 1 (https://www.ligue1.com/). If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbook odds are typically set by a small number of professionals, while this market aggregates opinions from many individuals. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially before significant events or when new information emerges. Analyzing these differences can be valuable for informed decision-making, as both sources attempt to forecast the same outcome – which team will score first in the first half of the Auxerre vs. Paris FC match.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the evolving consensus. Currently, the market indicates a certain level of confidence in one team scoring first, but this can change rapidly based on news, team lineups, or even shifts in overall market sentiment. The 24-hour volume of $0 shows the level of recent activity.
This market resolves around Nov 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the outcome will be determined by which team, if any, scores the first goal in the first half of the Auxerre vs. Paris FC match. The official match records will be used to verify the result. The resolution process focuses on objective, publicly available data to ensure a transparent and accurate determination of the winning outcome for this market.
Several factors could significantly influence this market before Nov 7, 2026. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Auxerre or Paris FC would likely cause price adjustments. Changes in team formations or tactical approaches announced before the match could also shift expectations. Unexpected weather conditions or even pre-game commentary from analysts could also impact trader sentiment. Furthermore, significant betting activity – a large influx of volume – could itself move the market, reflecting a change in perceived probabilities for the first half’s opening goalscorer.
