Generally, prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows traders to express their own independent beliefs. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply the dynamic nature of trading. It’s common to see prediction markets move faster than sportsbooks in response to new information or late-breaking news related to the teams involved in the AHL hockey matchup.
