In the upcoming Greek Cup game between AGS Astéras Trípolis and AE Kifisiás, scheduled for October 27, 2026 at 11:30 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the AGS Astéras Trípolis vs. AE Kifisiás match originally scheduled for October 27, 2026 at 11:30 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Comparing prediction market odds to sportsbook odds reveals how the wisdom of the crowd differs from professional oddsmakers. Sportsbooks set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market reflects the collective beliefs of a diverse group of traders. Often, prediction markets can be more accurate than traditional forecasts, particularly when information is sparse or subjective. Discrepancies between the two can present opportunities for arbitrage, where traders capitalize on price differences. It’s important to note that both represent probabilities of an outcome, but are derived through different mechanisms.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous double auction. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of a specific exact score. As more shares are traded, the price adjusts to reflect the collective sentiment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a 'yes' share (i.e., a specific score will occur) represents the probability of that outcome, while the price of a 'no' share represents the probability of all other outcomes. The market’s efficiency is driven by traders seeking to profit from perceived mispricings, leading to a dynamic and informative price discovery process.
This market resolves around Oct 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the Astéras Trípolis vs. Kifisiás match will determine the winning outcome. The resolution will be based on the exact final score, as recorded by official sources. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be paid out according to the market’s rules, while those holding shares in losing outcomes will forfeit their investment. The resolution process aims to be transparent and based on objective data.
Several signals could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding team injuries, suspensions, or changes in coaching staff could significantly shift probabilities. Unexpected weather conditions on match day could also impact the game and, consequently, the market. Furthermore, pre-match analysis from reputable sports analysts and any late-breaking team news could cause traders to reassess their predictions. Changes in public sentiment, reflected in betting patterns, will also play a role in price movements within this market. Monitoring these factors is crucial for understanding potential shifts in the odds.
