This market refers to the cricket match between Oman Under-19s and Afghanistan Under-19s scheduled for October 27 2026 at 1:30 AM ET in Afghanistan U19 Tour of Oman Youth ODIs. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially offering different insights than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbook odds are typically set by a small group of experts, while this market aggregates the opinions of many individual traders. This can lead to discrepancies, especially when there's significant public information or debate surrounding the event. It’s common to see this market move independently of sportsbook lines as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts, providing a unique perspective on the likely outcome of the Oman U19 vs Afghanistan U19 ODI series.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing potential outcomes. The price of a contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust dynamically, providing a real-time assessment of the series' likely result. The current price indicates what the collective market believes is the fair probability of each team winning, and the volume traded shows how confident traders are in their predictions.
This market resolves around Oct 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official results of the Oman U19 vs Afghanistan U19 ODI series, specifically which team wins the majority of the matches played. The final standings and match results will be used to determine the winning outcome for this market. Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. Any news regarding player injuries or changes to team lineups for either Oman U19 or Afghanistan U19 would likely cause movement.
