This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between Afghanistan and Zimbabwe scheduled for November 1 2026 at 9:30 AM ET in Afghanistan and Zimbabwe in the UAE T20s. The outcome corresponding to Afghanistan will be considered correct if Afghanistan is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Zimbabwe will be considered correct if Zimbabwe is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

Often, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, incorporating a profit margin. This market, however, is driven purely by traders’ willingness to buy or sell, leading to probabilities that can sometimes be more accurate, especially when incorporating information not fully reflected in sportsbook models. Discrepancies can arise due to differing risk assessments or access to unique data points among market participants.
This market resolves around Nov 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be determined by the official result of the toss in the Afghanistan vs Zimbabwe T20 match. The winning team of the toss will be the determining factor for resolution. Traders will be able to claim their winnings based on the final result as reported by official sources, and the platform will automatically settle the market accordingly.
Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the odds in this market. Any news regarding player availability, potential changes in pitch conditions, or weather forecasts for the match could all impact trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about team strategies or pre-match interviews from key players might also cause movement. Furthermore, large trades by influential participants on Polymarket could create short-term price fluctuations, reflecting shifts in overall market opinion before the toss takes place.
