This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between Afghanistan and Zimbabwe scheduled for October 29 2026 at 10:30 AM ET in Afghanistan and Zimbabwe in the UAE T20s. The outcome corresponding to Afghanistan will be considered correct if Afghanistan is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Zimbabwe will be considered correct if Zimbabwe is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on expert analysis and incorporate a profit margin, while this market allows traders to express their own beliefs. If a significant discrepancy exists between this market and sportsbook odds, it might indicate that traders possess information or perspectives not fully captured by sportsbooks. However, it's important to remember that both represent probabilities of an outcome, and neither is guaranteed to be accurate.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible outcome of the Afghanistan vs Zimbabwe T20 toss. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust to reflect the collective assessment of the toss result. This dynamic pricing ensures the market remains responsive to changing conditions.
This market resolves around Nov 5, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result of the toss – which team wins the toss – will be the determining factor. Resolution will depend on official match reporting and widely available sources documenting the toss winner. Traders holding shares in the correct outcome will be entitled to a payout based on the final market price at the time of resolution, while those holding shares in the incorrect outcome will forfeit their investment.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding team form, player availability, or pitch conditions could shift expectations and impact prices. Unexpected weather forecasts for the match location might also play a role, as conditions can influence toss strategy. Furthermore, any late-breaking information about potential biases or patterns in toss results could lead to increased trading volume and price movements. Overall, any development that alters the perceived probabilities of either team winning the toss has the potential to move this market.
