This market refers to the cricket match between Afghanistan and Zimbabwe scheduled for November 1 2026 at 9:30 AM ET in Afghanistan and Zimbabwe in the UAE T20s. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, ensuring profitability, while this market represents the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome. As a result, the odds here can sometimes be more efficient, especially when a significant amount of information isn't widely known or is being undervalued by the general public. It's common to see discrepancies, with this market potentially offering better value depending on your assessment of the teams.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand, reflecting the probability that traders assign to that outcome. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing means the odds are constantly updating as new information emerges and traders adjust their positions. Essentially, the market price is a real-time estimation of the likelihood of each result, driven by the collective intelligence of the participants.
This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official results of the Afghanistan vs Zimbabwe T20 series as reported by recognized sports authorities. The specific outcome that determines the settlement of this market will be the overall winner of the series, determined by the number of matches won by each team. No further details about the resolution process are available.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding player injuries or changes in team lineups for either Afghanistan or Zimbabwe would likely cause shifts in the odds. Weather forecasts for the UAE, particularly the potential for rain delays or disruptions, could also influence trading activity. Furthermore, performance in preceding matches or any unexpected announcements related to team strategy or conditions could all contribute to movement in this market as traders react to new information and adjust their predictions.
