This market refers to the cricket match between Afghanistan and Zimbabwe scheduled for October 27 2026 at 10:30 AM ET in Afghanistan and Zimbabwe in the UAE T20s. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Often, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and to balance action, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook has mispriced an outcome, they can express that view by trading on Polymarket, driving the odds closer to what they perceive as the true probability. It’s common to see prediction markets outperform traditional odds, especially as the event draws nearer and more information surfaces.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of a particular outcome. As more shares are purchased for a specific outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher perceived probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds constantly adapt to new information and changing sentiment among traders, offering a unique perspective on the potential results of the Afghanistan vs Zimbabwe T20 series.
This market resolves around Nov 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the Afghanistan vs Zimbabwe T20 series, specifically which team wins. The platform will rely on widely available sources to determine the winner, ensuring a transparent and accurate resolution process. Traders should monitor official announcements and sports news outlets for updates as the series progresses, as these will ultimately determine the final settlement of this market.
Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the odds in this market. Any news regarding player injuries or changes to team lineups for either Afghanistan or Zimbabwe would likely have a significant impact. Weather forecasts for the UAE, as rain could affect match schedules and potentially outcomes, will also be closely watched. Unexpected performance in early matches of the series, or even pre-series analysis from cricket experts, could also drive trading volume and alter the perceived probabilities of each team winning. These developments could all lead to shifts in the price of shares on Polymarket.
