Generally, prediction market odds tend to be more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, especially closer to the event. This is because prediction markets aggregate the wisdom of the crowd, incentivizing participants to make well-informed predictions. While sportsbooks may incorporate biases or adjust lines based on betting action to manage risk, this market reflects the collective belief of traders who have skin in the game. However, initial sportsbook lines may offer value before the prediction market fully incorporates information.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell contracts representing their belief about which team will score first. The price of each contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more people buy contracts predicting a particular team, the price increases, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures that the market odds reflect the most up-to-date information and collective intelligence of the traders.
This market resolves around Oct 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be based on official match data and verified against credible public sources.
