Description

This group forecasts which team will score the first goal in the AEK vs. Real Madrid CF match on November 4, 2026. A 'Neither' outcome is possible if no goal is scored within that timeframe.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both platforms utilize identical resolution criteria, focusing on the first goal scored within the standard 90-minute match duration plus stoppage time, with the same fallback data sources.Primary resolution logic: Official match statistics as recognized by the governing body or event organizers, with a tiered fallback system to Flashscore, Sofascore, and credible reporting.

Core resolution logic:

  • The first team to score during the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time determines the outcome.
  • If no team scores within the first 90 minutes plus stoppage time, the market resolves to 'Neither'.
  • Postponements result in delayed resolution until the match is completed.
  • Cancellations with no rescheduled match result in resolution to 'Neither'.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Data Source Conflicts: If discrepancies arise between the primary and fallback data sources, the official match statistics take precedence. If official statistics are unavailable, the order of precedence is Flashscore, then Sofascore, then a consensus of credible reporting.
  • Match Abandonment: If the match is abandoned before a goal is scored, and no rescheduled match occurs, the market resolves to 'Neither'.
Timing: Resolution will occur within 24 hours of the match's conclusion, or as soon as official statistics are available, whichever is later. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours, the market will resolve 50-50, or to 'Draw' where applicable. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds, like those found in this market, often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set odds based on their own models and aim to profit from margins, while prediction markets allow traders to openly buy and sell shares, driving prices based on collective belief. This can lead to discrepancies, especially when public sentiment diverges from expert opinion. Generally, prediction markets tend to be more accurate than traditional forecasts, though this isn’t always the case, and both can be valuable sources of information when assessing the AEK vs. Real Madrid match.

Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Price discrepancies between Polymarket and Predict for the AEK vs. Real Madrid first-to-score market can arise from several factors. Different user bases on each platform may have varying levels of expertise or access to information about team form, injuries, or tactical approaches. Trading volume also plays a role; a higher volume on one platform can lead to more efficient price discovery. Furthermore, the specific mechanisms for setting odds—how traders can place bets and adjust their positions—differ between Polymarket and Predict, influencing price movements. These factors contribute to the observed differences in probabilities.
