Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a more accurate aggregate forecast than traditional sportsbook odds. This is because prediction markets incentivize participants to reveal their true beliefs, while sportsbooks need to account for profit margins and potential biases. However, it’s important to note that sportsbooks have different limitations and information sources. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on expert analysis, this market allows for a dynamic adjustment of probabilities as new information becomes available and more traders participate. It’s a useful exercise to compare the two, but remember they represent different approaches to forecasting.
