All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can often be more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, particularly when considering information not fully captured by bookmakers. However, sportsbook odds are established by professionals who incorporate various factors, including team form, injuries, and historical data. Discrepancies between this market and sportsbook lines can arise due to differing opinions on these factors, or simply because prediction markets allow for more fluid price discovery based on a wider range of participants. It’s always wise to compare both to gain a comprehensive view.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible exact score. The price of each share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and express their views, the prices adjust, providing a dynamic and real-time assessment of the event's potential results. The market’s price movements are driven by supply and demand; if many traders believe a particular score is likely, they will buy shares, driving up the price and increasing its implied probability.
This market resolves around Nov 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final result – the exact score of the Adelaide United FC versus Melbourne Victory FC match – will be used to determine which shares pay out.
