If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market allows traders to directly express their beliefs about the probability of each exact score. If there’s a significant disagreement between this market and sportsbook odds, it could indicate that prediction market participants have access to information or insights not yet fully incorporated by sportsbooks. However, it is important to remember that both represent probabilities, and neither guarantees the actual outcome.
This market resolves around Oct 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official score of the Peruvian soccer match will determine the winning outcome. Any delays or postponements of the match may affect the resolution timeline, but the outcome will ultimately be based on the officially recorded result. Traders should monitor external sources for updates on the match schedule and final score as we approach the resolution date.
Several factors could influence the price movement of this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in coaching staff, or unexpected player suspensions could significantly shift expectations. Weather conditions on the day of the match, or even pre-match analysis from soccer experts, could also impact trading activity. Furthermore, large volume trades on Polymarket could cause rapid price fluctuations, reflecting a sudden change in market sentiment. Monitoring these factors will be key to understanding potential shifts in the odds before the market resolves.
