Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to profit by balancing action on both sides, while this market allows traders to express their own beliefs about the outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists between the two, opportunities for arbitrage may arise. However, it's important to remember that prediction market odds are dynamic and change based on the collective actions of traders, potentially converging with sportsbook odds as the event approaches.
