In the upcoming match between ACF Fiorentina and Juventus FC, scheduled for November 8, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET: This market will resolve to "ACF Fiorentina" if ACF Fiorentina are the first to score in the first half (first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time). This market will resolve to "Juventus FC" if Juventus FC are the first to score in the first half (first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time). If neither team scores in the first half (first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time), this market will resolve to "Neither". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Neither". This market refers only to goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time. Second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor names, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences in a team's or player's name will not affect resolution, provided the intended team or player can be clearly and uniquely identified as a participant in the listed fixture or competition. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participant, or could reasonably refer to more than one participant such that the intended team or player cannot be determined, this market will resolve as it would if the listed fixture had been canceled entirely; a listed participant who cannot be identified does not count as inactive or absent. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match information from Serie A (https://www.legaseriea.it/). If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and to balance action, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. If a significant number of people believe a particular outcome is more likely than implied by sportsbook odds, the price in this market will adjust accordingly. It’s common to see prediction markets outperform traditional sportsbooks, especially as more information becomes available and the event draws nearer, revealing a potentially different perceived probability.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the price converges towards a collective assessment of the likelihood of either ACF Fiorentina or Juventus FC scoring first in the first half. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current implied probability of Juventus FC scoring first is 48.5%.
This market resolves around Nov 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on which team—ACF Fiorentina or Juventus FC—scores the first goal during the first half of the match. The official match records will be used to determine the winning outcome. Traders will be able to claim their winnings once the result is officially declared and verified, allowing for a transparent and secure settlement process based on the actual event result.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before Nov 8, 2026. Late-breaking news regarding injuries to key players on either ACF Fiorentina or Juventus FC would likely have a significant impact. Changes in team formations or tactical approaches announced before the match could also shift expectations. Even weather conditions on match day could play a role, potentially favoring one team's style of play over the other. Any significant news or developments related to the teams or the match itself could trigger increased trading activity and price fluctuations in this market.
