Prices for this market may differ between Polymarket and Predict due to variations in trader demographics, differing market-making activity, and the specific incentives offered on each platform. Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For example, Polymarket might attract more sophisticated traders with access to advanced statistical models, while Predict could have a larger base of casual bettors. These differing user bases can lead to discrepancies in how information is interpreted and reflected in the odds. Furthermore, the volume of trading on each platform – currently $19 – can influence price discovery.
