PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Polymarket and Predict utilize identical resolution criteria regarding the first team to score within the first 90 minutes plus stoppage time, handling of postponements, and cancellations.Primary resolution logic: Official match statistics, with a defined hierarchy of fallback sources (Flashscore, Sofascore, consensus of credible reporting).

Core resolution logic:

  • The first goal scored during the first 90 minutes of regular play plus any added stoppage time determines the winner.
  • If no goal is scored within the first 90 minutes plus stoppage time, the market resolves to 'Neither'.
  • Postponement of the match will result in the market remaining open until the match is completed.
  • Cancellation of the match will result in the market resolving to 'Neither'.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Data Availability: If official statistics are unavailable within 2 hours of the match's conclusion, the resolution will proceed using Flashscore, then Sofascore, and finally a consensus of credible reporting.
  • Score Revisions: Any revisions to the officially declared final score after market resolution will not affect the outcome.
Timing: Resolution will occur within 24 hours of the match's conclusion, or as soon as official statistics are available, whichever is sooner. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours, the market will resolve 50-50 (or to 'Draw' where applicable). Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.
