If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, but may also incorporate a profit margin. This market, however, is driven by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs. If a significant number of people believe a particular outcome is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the odds on Polymarket will shift accordingly, potentially offering value to informed traders. It's common to see discrepancies, especially as new information emerges.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different first-half exact scores, and the price of each share reflects the probability of that outcome occurring. As more shares are traded, the prices adjust to reflect the collective belief of the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's efficiency stems from the incentive for traders to accurately assess probabilities, as profitable trades depend on correctly predicting the event's outcome. This dynamic pricing ensures the market odds are constantly updated based on new information and sentiment.
This market resolves around Oct 28, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official first-half exact score of the AC Monza vs. SSC Napoli match. Any delays in official reporting may affect the resolution time, but the platform will strive for a swift and accurate determination. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be paid out according to the final share price at resolution, while those holding shares in losing outcomes will forfeit their investment.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market leading up to Oct 28, 2026. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either AC Monza or SSC Napoli would likely cause significant shifts in the odds. Changes in team formations or tactical approaches announced before the match could also impact predictions. Even weather conditions on match day could play a role, potentially favoring one team's style of play over the other. Any significant public sentiment shifts, reflected in expert analyses or social media discussions, could also move the market.
