In the upcoming Serie A game between AC Monza and Cagliari Calcio, scheduled for October 19, 2026 at 12:30 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the halftime score of the AC Monza vs. Cagliari Calcio match originally scheduled for October 19, 2026 at 12:30 PM ET, considering only goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time; second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual halftime score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action, while this market aggregates diverse opinions. If many bettors believe a specific first-half exact score is more likely than implied by sportsbook odds, the price on Polymarket will adjust accordingly. Discrepancies can arise from differing levels of information, analytical approaches, or simply varying risk appetites between prediction market participants and traditional sports bettors. It’s useful to compare both to gain a broader perspective on potential outcomes.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible first-half exact score. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information emerges, these prices will fluctuate, reflecting the collective intelligence of the crowd. The market efficiently incorporates available data to provide a dynamic assessment of the likely result.
This market resolves around Oct 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score at the end of the first half of the AC Monza vs. Cagliari match will determine the winning outcome. Any official data source reporting the first-half score will be used to verify the result. The resolution process ensures a transparent and objective determination of the market's outcome, based on the actual events of the game.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either AC Monza or Cagliari would likely cause significant shifts. Changes in team formations or tactical approaches announced before kickoff could also impact predictions. Even weather conditions on match day could play a role, influencing the style of play and potentially affecting the likelihood of certain scores. Any unexpected developments leading up to or during the first half could cause the market to react and adjust prices accordingly.
