In the upcoming match between AC Monza and Atalanta BC, scheduled for November 8, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET: This market will resolve to "AC Monza" if AC Monza are the first to score in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time). This market will resolve to "Atalanta BC" if Atalanta BC are the first to score in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time). If neither team scores in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time), this market will resolve to "Neither". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Neither". This market refers only to goals scored within the second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time. First-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor names, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences in a team's or player's name will not affect resolution, provided the intended team or player can be clearly and uniquely identified as a participant in the listed fixture or competition. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participant, or could reasonably refer to more than one participant such that the intended team or player cannot be determined, this market will resolve as it would if the listed fixture had been canceled entirely; a listed participant who cannot be identified does not count as inactive or absent. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match information from Serie A (https://www.legaseriea.it/). If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines based on their models and a margin for profit, while this market allows traders to express their own informed opinions. If many traders believe a sportsbook underestimates the chance of Atalanta BC scoring first in the second half, demand will increase for that outcome, driving up its price and reflecting a higher probability. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply a larger and more diverse pool of participants in the prediction market.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the collective assessment of the likelihood of AC Monza or Atalanta BC scoring first in the second half. Currently, the implied probability of Atalanta BC scoring first is 47.0%.
This market resolves around Nov 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will depend on which team—AC Monza or Atalanta BC—scores the first goal in the second half of the match. The result will be determined by official match data, and the market will settle to 100% in favor of the team that meets this condition. Any disputes will be resolved using publicly available match records.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either AC Monza or Atalanta BC would likely cause significant shifts in the odds. Tactical changes announced by either manager prior to kickoff could also impact trader sentiment. Even the weather conditions on match day, such as heavy rain or strong winds, might be considered by traders. Furthermore, any significant events during the first half of the match—like a red card or an early goal—could lead to substantial price movements in this market.
