In the upcoming Serie A game between AC Monza and Atalanta BC, scheduled for November 8, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the halftime score of the AC Monza vs. Atalanta BC match originally scheduled for November 8, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET, considering only goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time; second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual halftime score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor names, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences in a team's or player's name will not affect resolution, provided the intended team or player can be clearly and uniquely identified as a participant in the listed fixture or competition. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participant, or could reasonably refer to more than one participant such that the intended team or player cannot be determined, this market will resolve as it would if the listed fixture had been canceled entirely; a listed participant who cannot be identified does not count as inactive or absent. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match information from Serie A (https://www.legaseriea.it/). If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often proving more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, particularly as an event approaches. However, sportsbook odds are established by professional oddsmakers, incorporating sophisticated models and information. For this market, it's possible to find differences between Polymarket’s implied probabilities and those offered by sportsbooks, stemming from differing methodologies and the unique information each incorporates. Comparing these odds can reveal where the market anticipates discrepancies in potential outcomes.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing different possible first-half exact scores in the AC Monza vs. Atalanta match. The price of each share directly reflects the market’s assessment of the probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe a particular score is likely, the higher its share price will climb, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds constantly adapt to new information and changing sentiment.
This market resolves around Nov 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the final score at the end of the first half of the AC Monza vs. Atalanta match will determine the winning outcome. The resolution will be based on official match data, ensuring an accurate and transparent result. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the shares they hold in the winning outcome.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market before resolution. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in starting lineups, or tactical adjustments announced by either AC Monza or Atalanta could significantly shift market sentiment. Unexpected weather conditions on match day, or even pre-match analysis from reputable football commentators, could also play a role. Furthermore, large-volume trades on Polymarket itself can create momentum and cause prices to fluctuate, reflecting shifts in trader confidence.
