In the upcoming Serie A game between AC Milan and Atalanta BC, scheduled for October 18, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the AC Milan vs. Atalanta BC match originally scheduled for October 18, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, which represents their profit margin. This market, driven by the collective intelligence of traders on Predict, aims to represent the true probability of each outcome. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on expert analysis, prediction markets can quickly adjust based on new information and diverse opinions. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially as the event approaches and more volume is traded.
On Predict, this market is priced through a dynamic order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing each possible exact score. The price of each contract reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that score occurring. As more traders buy a particular outcome, its price increases, indicating a higher perceived probability. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market efficiently incorporates new information as traders react to news, injuries, or other relevant factors. This creates a constantly updating assessment of the likely result of the AC Milan vs. Atalanta match.
This market resolves around Oct 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final result of the AC Milan vs. Atalanta match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact score at the end of regulation time will determine the winning outcome. The platform will verify the result against official sources to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders who correctly predicted the exact score will be paid out according to the final market prices at resolution. This process ensures a fair and reliable outcome for all participants.
Several factors could significantly influence this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either AC Milan or Atalanta BC would likely cause shifts in the odds. Tactical changes announced by either manager, or even unexpected weather conditions on match day, could also impact trader sentiment. Major upsets in other related matches, or even broader trends in soccer performance, might also play a role. Increased trading volume closer to Oct 18, 2026 will also likely lead to more price volatility as traders refine their predictions.
