In the upcoming Serie A game between AC Milan and Atalanta BC, scheduled for October 18, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the halftime score of the AC Milan vs. Atalanta BC match originally scheduled for October 18, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET, considering only goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time; second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to profit by balancing action on both sides, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individuals. If a significant number of people believe an outcome is more likely than a sportsbook suggests, the prediction market price will adjust accordingly. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially when public opinion strongly deviates from the sportsbook’s initial assessment. Examining these differences can reveal valuable insights.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each possible first-half exact score. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the prices converge to reflect the collective prediction. Higher volume generally indicates greater confidence in a particular outcome, while price fluctuations signal changing expectations. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the most up-to-date information available.
This market resolves around Oct 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official first-half exact score of the AC Milan vs. Atalanta match, as reported by a trusted sports data provider. The platform will verify the result against publicly available sources to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders holding shares in the correct outcome will be paid out according to the final market price at the time of resolution.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. Any news regarding injuries to key players on either AC Milan or Atalanta could significantly shift expectations. Changes in team formations or tactical approaches announced before the match would also be impactful. Unexpected weather conditions on match day could also play a role, potentially affecting the style of play and scoring opportunities. Finally, any late-breaking news or rumors surrounding team morale or internal conflicts could influence trader sentiment and move the market.
