Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those offered by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks may incorporate factors like promotional offers or biases, while this market relies on the collective wisdom of traders. If sportsbook odds significantly differ from those on Polymarket, it could indicate disagreement about the true probability of an outcome. Examining these differences can be valuable for identifying potential mispricings and informed betting decisions. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities as perceived by different groups.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of a specific exact score. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the price will fluctuate, reflecting the evolving consensus. The market’s depth and volume indicate the level of confidence traders have in each possible result of the Aalesunds FK vs. Sandefjord Fotball match.
